What we collect

When you create a Calltime account, we collect your name, email address, and the profile information you choose to add — headline, location, roles, work history, and show credits. If you upload a profile photo, we store that too.

We also collect basic usage data — pages you visit, features you use, and device/browser information — to understand how the platform is used and to keep it running reliably.

We do not sell your data

Calltime does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Ever. Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Calltime platform.

California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and share; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale of your personal information (note: we do not sell your data); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@calltime.social. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days.

How we use it

We use your data to operate the platform: to show your profile and show credits to other members, to match you with relevant gigs and jobs, and to power features like circles, vouches, and comments.

We use your email address to send notifications you've opted into (circle requests, comments, gig matches, application updates) and important account and billing communications. We use aggregate usage data to improve the product.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data to third parties. We share data only with the service providers that make Calltime work:

  • Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe — processes company subscription payments. We never see or store your card details.
  • Resend — delivers transactional emails (notifications, invites, receipts) on our behalf.

These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations and only process your data to provide their service to us.

How to delete your account

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing privacy@calltime.social from the address on your account. We'll remove your profile, show credits, and personal data from active systems, retaining only what we're legally required to keep (such as billing records).

Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, Stripe retains payment records for 7 years as required by law).

Read notifications are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Data breach notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable law. We will describe the nature of the breach, the data affected, and the steps we are taking to address it.
